Haruna Mori

I am Haruna Mori, the Secretary General for JUEMUN 2017.
Model United Nations is a truly unique educational experience in which the lessons learned and challenges faced differ for each individual. It was my honor to be a delegate for NMUN Czech Republic (2015) and JUEMUN 2016, and then, serve as an organizer for NMUN Japan (2016). Therefore, I strongly wish to “give back” to the MUN community by offering an unforgettable experience to every delegate who attends JUEMUN 2017. Whether this will be your hundredth or your very first MUN conference, I hope that JUEMUN 2017 becomes another step in your lifelong journey to discover new facts and meet big challenges, not only in the world but also in your self.

Anna Deekeling

University Duisburg-Essen, INEAST, Modern East Asia; Japanese – Sociology

My name is Anna Deekeling, I am going to be a Chair for the upcoming JUEMUN 2017. I had the opportunity to join NMUN 2016 in Japan as a delegate representing Japan at the Security Council. It was a great but challenging experience working together with students from all over the world. For all non-native speakers like me, it may even be double the challenge: To not only face international problems and every countries opinion but also the language barrier. I see the JUEMUN as a great chance to improve both: understanding of a foreign language as well as gobal issues.

Imogen White

The University of Queensland (Australia), BA Japanese, Economics; Diploma of Languages; Spanish, 3rd Year

My name is Imogen White and I am honoured to be a part of the chair for JUEMUN 2017.  My first MUN experience was participating in BRISMUN 2016 in Brisbane, Australia, representing Russia in the CSW. MUN conferences are all about working together to gain international perspectives on current issues, and I am greatly looking forward to working with delegates to explore solutions to make the world a fairer place for women and girls.

Nao Takato

I am Nao Takato. It is my honor to be in charge as a chair for JUEMUN 2017. Model United Nations always gives us great chance and challenges. I really appreciate that I could engage in it as a delegate for JUEMUN 2016 and NMUN Japan 2016. It is true that experience for MUN might be sometimes bitter, but I hope every delegate will realize these bitter experiences are what provide you dramatical grows for the next step in your life.
