Welcome to JUEMUN 2021 Japan University English Model United Nations. We are pleased to welcome you to the United Nations General Assembly. This year’s Secretary Generals are Hibiki Maeda and Niklaus Weigelt. With less than a decade left to achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, the need to act is becoming increasingly urgent. This year’s agenda, Appropriate and Resilient Development for Environmental Sustainability, aims to tackle climate change and environmental issues by focusing on SDGs 9, 12, and 13. We hope that this 12th annual conference provides you with valuable experiences.
